Morning Prayer Against Setbacks: A Prayer for Strength and Guidance

Heavenly Father,

As I begin this day, I pray for strength to overcome any setbacks I may face. I claim the promise of Isaiah 43:18-19. I ask You to help me let go of the past. I want to embrace the new things You are doing.

Lord, like Paul (Philippians 3:13-14), I choose to press on, focusing on the future You have planned for me. Strengthen my resolve to pursue Your calling.

I trust in Your support and protection (Psalm 37:23-24). Even if I stumble, I know You will uphold me.

Help me to remember that setbacks don’t define me (Proverbs 24:16), but rather my resilience and faith in You.

Thank you for the examples of Joseph, Peter, and Job. Help me learn from their experiences and trust that You can turn any setback into a setup for Your glory.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
